- 8 Love Me Tenders chicken breast fillets
- 2 cups blanched brussels sprout leaves
- 500 g macaronis
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) butter
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) all-purpose flour
- 375 ml (1½ cup) cold milk
- 250 g shredded cheddar cheese
- 5 ml (1 tsp) turmeric
- 1,25 ml (¼ tsp) freshly grated nutmeg
- Salt and pepper

- 500 g macaronis
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) butter
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) all-purpose flour
- 375 ml (1½ cup) cold milk
- 250 g shredded cheddar cheese
- 5 ml (1 tsp) turmeric
- 1,25 ml (¼ tsp) freshly grated nutmeg
- Salt and pepper

Preparation

- In a large pot over medium-high heat, melt the butter, add the flour, turmeric, and nutmeg. Cook for 1 minute, stirring. Gradually whisk in the milk until boiling. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in the milk until boiling. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in the shredded cheddar cheese, mix well, and keep warm.
- In a large saucepan, cook the pasta in a generous amount of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce. Keep warm.
- Cook the chicken fillets until they are nice and crispy.
- Transfer the macaroni into serving bowls and accompany each bowl with two chicken fillets and Brussels sprout leaves as garnish.
