Crunchy oatmeal with bacon

Cook the bacon cubes at medium-high heat until they are quite crispy. Remove to absorbent paper

Pour the water into a medium-size no-stick bowl, add salt, bring to a simmer, lower the heat, add the oatmeal while stirring constantly and cook for 5 minutes. Remove, add the maple syrup and the cinnamon, mix well and pour into the 6 bowls

Sprinkle each bowl with the diced apple, the blueberries and the crispy bacon and serve warm
